**The Opportunity**
This is an exciting opportunity for a Process Improvement Specialist who will work as part of the Strategy and Transformation Team to drive process simplification, cost improvement and its implementation across the business.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
As a **Process Improvement Specialist** you will:
- Simplify, optimise and document business processes
- Present business process recommendations succinctly to gain stakeholders’ support and solution endorsement
- Ensure implemented business processes deliver expected benefits across Transgrid
- Lead improvement of business processes supported by accurate and detailed documentation
- Maintain a current understanding of the strategic objectives and correlation to business transformation priorities
**Skills & Experience**
What we expect from you:
- Business process improvement management experience
- Broad understanding of functional capabilities and Business Processes
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification would be an advantage
- Knowledge of Business Process Modelling Notation and experience in using ARIS software or equivalent software would be an advantage
- Preferred experience in the Utilities sector, Infrastructure or Engineering sector
- Project management skills
- Business / IT / Engineering Degree or commensurate experience
- Strong problem solving skills to redesign processes for improved operational outcomes
- Strong facilitation, negotiation and conflict resolution skills and have the ability to manage and develop relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to frame a problem and influence an outcome
