Rabobank’s The Continuous Improvement Team is part of the Chief of Operation (COO) business unit. The vision of the COO Domain is Building Tomorrow’s Bank Today. The role of the Continuous Improvement Team is to help achieve this vision through large scale Improvement Projects, Continuous Improvement Learning Programs to increase employees’ capabilities and through coaching teams to improve their FOCUS Ways of Working.

We are expanding the team and have an opening for a Continuous Improvement Specialist. This role can be based in either Sydney, Australia or Hamilton, New Zealand.

**A bit about the role**

The Continuous Improvement Specialist works to improve the overall performance of Rabobank Australia & New Zealand (RANZG) through Lean Six Sigma, Agile and FOCUS Ways of Working training programs, team initiatives and large-scale improvement projects by building a culture of continuous improvement across all RANZG where best practises are shared and learned.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create energy and increased awareness around Continuous Improvement at Rabobank
- Educate and develop Lean Six Sigma, Design Thinking and Agile skills throughout Rabobank
- Use Lean Six Sigma, Design Thinking and Agile tools to deliver cross functional Process Improvement projects
- Actively support the delivery of process improvement projects to meet organisational targets
- Organising, facilitating, designing workshops
- Support and coach business units during deployment of process improvements
- Coach employees and teams in Lean Six Sigma, Agile and FOCUS methodologies to help them develop
- Facilitate technical training in Lean Six Sigma, Design Thinking and Agile
- Network with the Continuous Improvement community to learn and share knowledge in a collaborative environment

**Experience, Qualifications and Attributes**:
**Essential**
- Up to 3 years’ experience completing Continuous Improvement activities in a Process Improvement capacity
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a corporate environment
- Exposure to improvement methodologies
- Exposure to the implementation of a Continuous Improvement Culture
- Willingness to complete and become certified in a formal process improvement or Agile methodology to Green Belt level and/or SCRUM Master (or equivalent) if not already certified.
- Positive mindset, inclined to challenge norms and assumption for the better of an organisation
- Effective communicator, able to build good working relationships

**Desirable**
- Agile Project Manager Certified
- SCRUM Master Certified
- Design Thinking Training or Certifications
