**Job Description Summary**:
Work in conjunction with Product Managers to support planning, overseeing, coordination and execution of both internal and external activities to deliver commercial outcomes. The activities can be quite broad and varied.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide support and assistance in planning, developing, producing, and delivering marketing and communications materials. This includes the coordination between different internal businesses and functions (e.g. coordinate the copy approval process) and external suppliers.
- Support creation of marketing collaterals, including use of software to support the design of brochures, digital photography and video creation. Adobe Indesign software will be used.
- Support creation and distribution of marketing campaigns using enabler programs such as Salesforce, Marketo and Knack.
- Coordinates approvals through Veeva Vault and distributes approved material to ensure BD compliance is met.
- Ensures there is adequate inventory of samples and promotional literature on hand.
- Maintains sales and marketing material library like Showpad, ensuring it is current and accessible to all sales and clinical associates. The associate will also become a program superuser to train other BD associates.
- Supports sending promotional literature and / or samples / equipment directly to customers or sales associates at the request of the Product Managers, Tender and Contracts team, Sales and / or clinical teams; ensuring accurate tracking of lot numbers for product samples in the event of a product notification or recall.
- Maintain centralised records electronically including product information, customer communications, general correspondence, samples and related material for ease of retrieval.
- Administration tasks related to purchasing equipment and samples from 3rd party vendors such as BuySmart setup, sourcing of quote and placement of Purchase Orders, as well as other internal setup and invoicing related matters.
- Being responsible for all conference and event activities. Tasks include BD internal approval process using Interactions Hub, BuySmart setup and invoicing, logistics, booth design and communication activities. Also, inputting post event leads into CRM systems, like SF.COM / MS Dynamics.
- Internal BD monthly/ quarterly communications.
- Provide analytical and data tracking support by compiling, consolidating, formatting, updating and summarising information.
- Any other administration/marketing style task as requested by the Business Unit Manager and on an ad hoc basis.
- Adhere to the requirements of the Quality Management System as maintained by BD Australia and New Zealand.

**Preferred Requirements**:

- Ability to work autonomously and display initiative in decision making.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong forward planning skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
- Proficient skills with MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Publisher and MS Outlook.
- Graphic design software skills with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Acrobat will be an advantage. (Training can be provided)
- Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work cross functionally and collaboratively in a global organisation is essential.
- High attention to detail.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in assisting or managing marketing or administrative activities, preferably in the healthcare sector.
