Partnerships Manager

At Aeroplane Agency, we believe in authentic connections. We help brands create these connections with consumers through unique entertainment, artist & culture partnerships. We use our positioning as an agile consultancy agency to develop commercial strategies for festivals, events and brands. We ideate and create for brands looking to partner with entertainment festivals and events and build out and deliver physical or digital activations.
Aeroplane sits within the Bolster Group of brands, and works closely with the Bolster team which enables us to deliver end-to-end culture marketing campaigns for our clients, with all services under one roof.
**Role Purpose**
This is a 6-month contract role with potential to extend to a permanent opportunity beyond the contract term.
**What You'll Be Doing**
**New Business Development**
- Create lead lists that are maintained through a CRM sales tool
- Outreach to brand managers, sponsorship teams and marketers to generate interest in events
- Work with the General Manager to create sales strategies for our entertainment and music clients
- Responsible for hitting individual sales targets and contribution to the greater agency budget
- Attend industry events and use time out to meet with people and build relationships
- Develop proposals and liaise with creatives to build ideas and offerings for clients
- Develop agreements and contracts for partnerships
- Effectively hand over clients to the Partnerships Account Manager once the agreements and foundations of partnerships are in place
- Build and foster strong relationships to enable renewal partnerships with a brand and industry clients
- Represent Aeroplane Agency at relevant industry gatherings and meet ups
- Identify and pursue new biz opportunities
**Account Management**
- Continue a level of oversight and partnership management through the campaign phase
- When required, be responsible for the implementation of partnership agreements and/or elements
- Build working relationships with events and festivals we work with as an extension of their team
- Build annual calendar moments to enable timely engagement of partner brands
- Develop ways of nurturing and retaining clients on-going
- Continue to refine the process to make the experience as smooth and easy as possible with clients
**About You**
- Previous experience in sales & partnerships/business development roles
- Have had experience in client account management and been part of a team needed to find solutions to client challenges/ problems
- Good understanding of brand partnerships
- An understanding and love of music and other cultural pillars that our clients sit within
- Excellent communication and people skills with a knack for building relationships
- Love being autonomous and self-motivated in your roles, keep yourself and your team organised
- Desire to be part of a growing business
- A positive outlook - you see opportunities where others see obstacles.
