Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking an experienced New Business and Partnerships Lead to join our team and drive new client acquisition, expand existing client relationships, and promote the growth of our agency. This is an exciting role that blends project-focused strategy development with business marketing and sales.
The candidate should have experience in client acquisition and relationship management, and an ability to identify strategic business opportunities and craft tailored marketing solutions. A good understanding of creative production, advertising or design studio processes would be beneficial.
What You'll Do
The New Business and Partnerships Lead will be responsible for the development and leadership of GOZER's strategic client relationships and new business acquisition. The New Business and Partnerships Lead will report to the agency's directors in a highly collaborative and team-oriented environment with the aim of winning new business as well as managing the strategic marketing development for GOZER's clients. In addition, the New Business and Partnerships Lead is responsible for helping to build and grow awareness of the agency by acting as an outward-facing thought leader.
The New Business and Partnerships Lead will maintain and grow GOZER's business and client base on an ongoing and project basis. They will create and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients, developing and documenting strategic solutions and plans that best fit GOZER's, and clients' needs. They are responsible for creating brand/campaign identities/propositions through research and applying experience to uncover an in-depth knowledge of the organisational process, competitive threats and opportunities of a client's vision.
DUTIES
Strategy
· Contribute to the strategic development of creative work to meet client needs and address their problems by providing
- Sound and responsible marketing advice and planning
- Innovator and influencer level communications
- A consistently superior creative product
- Work that is strategic and above all creative
· Provide market research, analyses and insights into latest industry trends, messaging, and influencers to maximise GOZER's strategic contribution and subject matter expertise
· Plan, facilitate and document outcomes for workshops and focus groups
Business Development
· Secure new clients for GOZER, increase sales opportunities, and maximise revenue
· Gather information about prospects that fit client criteria and develop propositions for attracting those prospects to the business
· Make outbound sales calls, appointments for agency meetings, attend high value networking events, and stay in touch with prospects via regular correspondence
· Plan, deliver, and lead persuasive approaches, tender responses, and pitches that will convince organisations to do business with GOZER
· Attend client, and potential client meetings and take comprehensive project notes to inform briefing and scoping processes
· Be the initial key point of contact, and when business is successfully won, ensure a smooth transition to the creative team
Partnerships
· Responsible for client accounts within GOZER, and the client-studio relationship
· Ensure the profitability and growth of client accounts
· Client retention, upselling, cross-selling; presenting new products and support services to clients
· Lead pitches for new business, approaching these with both a creative and commercial mindset
· Generate and drive insight for internal and client audiences; lead and inspire others inside and outside the agency: marketing, social media, events, copywriting, podcasts, articles, speaking, networking
· Represent GOZER at conferences, events and symposiums
· Develop in collaboration with GOZER directors, innovative and/or differentiating products and services
· Champion internal systems for more productive processes
