**About the role**:
Cancer Council Australia are seeking a Head of Marketing Strategy to join our Cancer Control Campaigns and Communications team.

The Head of Marketing Strategy leads the strategy and line management for the paid and earned media team.

Key requirements include providing strategic leadership on all paid and earned marketing activities, working in tandem with the head of digital on owned and paid digital marketing activities, servicing major funding partners, managing media buying, creative and other marketing agencies, leading and advising on Federation marketing wide cancer control marketing, building and leading cross functional working teams to deliver major campaigns and programs of marketing and leading a team. Fundamental to success in the role is strategic nous, marketing expertise and strong stakeholder engagement skills.

If you are a team player looking for a new challenge then this may be the role for you We are looking for:

- A seasoned strategist with 8-10 years of experience developing and using audience insight to drive outcomes

You will have:

- Proven campaign delivery experience for $10m+ campaigns
- Strong understanding of and experience in strategic health communications.
- Client service excellence
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams and driving high performance
- Outstanding communication skills - including highly developed verbal, writing and editing skills
