As a **Head of Web,**you will be responsible for leading our new Creative & Design team to deliver client results, providing strategic counsel to the team & clients.
Leading the team on how to understand a client’s business, and serving as their go-to thought leader on web design & development, project delivery and product strategies. You will ensure the quality of work meets expectations and delivers ROI that retains & grows our client database.
In addition to leading the Creative & Design Team, you’ll work closely with the Heads of Client Services and the Chief Technology Officer to ensure our processes, projects and execution are consistently achieving measurable business outcomes.
**As a Head of Web, you will be responsible for**:
- Managing the Creative & Design team members, ensuring quality in the work delivered.
- Working with the sales team in creating and presenting website audits, project briefs and quotes to prospective clients.
- Recruiting & developing the best creatives & developers in Australia to maintain & grow our offering.
- Build and maintain project delivery processes and standards.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field.
- Experience in a digital agency environment.
- Experience preparing web & e-commerce project proposals with $20k to $150k budgets.
- Serve as a web dev expert for business development pitches.
- Experience managing web development project teams.
- An in-depth technical understanding of web design & e-commerce and what needs to be done in an agency environment to get and maintain great results is essential.
- Strong project management, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point, strong relationship building skills & communication skills.
- Previous hands-on web development career experience is highly advantageous
