Project Officer

Reporting to the Director, Partnerships and Engagement, the purpose of this role is to provide coordination, input and support to projects in the Strategic Partnerships and Engagement team.
**In this role you will**:
- Provide project support for the Young Tourism Leaders program.
- Coordinate arrangements for Young Tourism Leaders to deliver school presentations and participate in careers expos, including liaison with teachers.
- Provide input to content for the website and social media relating to the Young Tourism Leaders program.
- Coordinate the administrative aspects of the Young Tourism Leaders program including processing expense claims, invoices, and monitoring/distributing marketing collateral.
- Provide project support on broader workforce development initiatives.
- Undertake research, assist with presentations and provide project support for other priorities within the Strategic Partnerships and Engagement team.
- Support the delivery of events and other program activities as required.
- Liaise with industry stakeholders, Queensland Government departments, and Local and Australian Government agencies as required.
- Prepare briefing notes, documents, correspondence, presentations or reports
