**Your new role**

The Department is currently seeking a talented Communications and Engagement Business Partner for a contract duration of 3 months, with a potential extension at an AS05 level. In this key role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality content for a diverse range of communication channels, managing multiple projects, and meeting tight deadlines. Additionally, this role involves participation in departmental events, some of which may require working out of standard hours.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Proven copywriting experience, creating top-tier content for communication channels such as executive updates, stakeholder updates, work instructions, website content, social media posts, staff meetings, newsletters, and digital displays.
- The capability to manage multiple projects concurrently and work within tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the professionalism and confidence to collaborate with key stakeholders including the Executive team, Department staff, and external partners in other agencies.
- The initiative to actively participate in meetings and contribute to a positive team culture.
- Previous experience working within the SA government is highly desirable.
