Investment Administration Officer

This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with solid understanding of managed funds and investments.

**Key responsibilities**:

- ** Rebates Management**:

- Receipt and process rebates from Fund Managers, Portfolio Providers, and other remitting entities.
- Validate and follow up with Fund Managers/Portfolio Providers regarding discrepancies between calculated and paid rebate rates.
- Actively follow up with Fund Managers/Portfolio Providers for delayed rebate receipts.
- Onboard and maintain rebate agreements for Fund Managers and Portfolio Providers.
- Serve as the main point of contact for issues related to ManagerHub access, including set-ups and onboarding new funds for reporting.
- ** External Trades**:

- Reconcile and process trades executed through external brokers, ensuring proper settlement through the platform.
- Proactively follow up with external brokers and relevant stakeholders regarding failed trades.
- Act as the main point of contact for any issues related to external broker access and account linkages.
- ** Unlisted Bond Trades**:

- Reconcile and process unlisted bond trades submitted by Adviser Groups.
- Set up and maintain new unlisted bond products.
- Continuously monitor bond pricing to ensure accurate data is imported into the system.
- ** Ad Hoc Projects/Process Improvement**:

- Participate and contribute to ad-hoc projects as required.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency, and actively work to streamline existing workflows.

**Key skills required**:

- Financial instruments, products, platforms, and the financial planning industry experience
- Understanding of Australian Tax
- Significant financial services experience in similar position
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge on Australian securities, cash options and an understanding of the risks inherent in settlement activities
- Tertiary qualifications highly regarded.
