**The role and Day to day will include**:

- Work closely with other functions in the organisation, such as Resilience Risk, Chief Climate Risk Officer, Credit and Line 1 teams to integrate sustainability considerations into credit risk frameworks and management processes.
- Review and monitor credit portfolio risk from a Material Risk Owner (MRO) perspective. Collaborate with Line 1, RP&A and DD&A teams to embed dynamic portfolio management balancing risk, reward and strategic ambition.
- Provide regular credit risk profile reports to senior management, committees and the board on credit portfolio and sustainability risk performance and trends.
- Monitor and assess emerging credit portfolio and sustainability risks and trends and provide recommendations to senior management for appropriate action. Ensure MRO and teams have the suitability level of reporting and insights for managing credit risk from a Line 2 perspective.

- Strong leadership and management capability leading multi-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of credit risk management and sustainability risk management principles, practices and regulatory requirements.
- Proven transformation execution experience.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle.
- Strong engagement, communication and interpersonal skills - strong presence with proven ability to interact, challenge and influence effectively across senior levels of the organisation, regulators and industry bodies (e.g. APRA, ABA).
- Resilient - remains calm under pressure and ability to effectively manage requests that have short turnaround times.
- Superior communication skills both written and oral and a track record in producing papers for Executive and Board levels.
- Strong business acumen - business judgement, problem solving skills and the ability to distil complex information.
- Delivery skills - able to digest and coordinate multiple disparate pieces of work concurrently and drive timely delivery of priority actions.
