- Excellent SQL and Power BI skills essential
- Must have extensive experience in the credit risk space

Quant Analyst required to join a leading financial services firm to build and implement credit risk models in order to predict losses.

**Responsibilities**:

- working with senior leadership team to understand key business questions
- driving improvements in credit performance by developing risk models, monitoring portfolio trends, and hypothesis testing
- presenting insights and recommendations to management

**Requirements**:

- solid experience working in the credit lending/risk space
- an extensive analytical background, with proven experience in seeking out innovative ways to solve business problems.
- the ability to drive insight from data, assess the commercial / financial impact and recommend action
- strong coding skills using SQL, R or Python
- solid experience delivering accurate, error-free results to a high standard within tight deadlines
