**About the Role**
We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced analyst to join our Risk group. You will be supporting Credit Risk Strategy team with the development, maintenance and oversight of Credit Risk acquisition strategies across different portfolios in retail and business lending
This role will be responsible for the following:
- Monitoring of acquisition strategies and portfolio quality to provide insights and mitigate risk to the business.
- Perform deep-dive ad-hoc analysis (acquisition, portfolio, customer, affordability) to drive actionable insights and recommendations.
- Robust PIR reporting and detailed tracking of implemented strategies that provide insights to senior leadership.
Precision and accuracy within the division is of the highest priority and so is the timely delivery of key metrics and commentary on business strategy.
**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will need analytical thinking and the ability to translate data insights into business benefits. You will also need the ability to analyse and interpret financial data and present it in a logical and consumable manner.
You would be an ideal fit if you’ve worked as an analyst for 1-2 years within financial services and have a passion for mathematics, analytics or similar. Some experience using programming languages i.e. SAS, SQL, VBA, R, Python would be required.
