**Your key responsibilities include**:

- Handling daily operations in accordance with organisational procedures and agreed SLA.
- Avoiding the breach of SLA during credit risk checks and periodical credit review, causing the delays in onboarding and operational loss, brand exposure and dissatisfaction of internal and external customers and regulatory concerns.
- Preventing the company from financial loss (due to the credit risk and potential fraudulent merchant’s behavior).
- Building the organisational awareness in terms of credit and wider risk management.

**Your day-to-day responsibilities include**:

- Review allocated cases on daily basis and manage case closures in order to maintain operations and ensure their completion within the agreed standards and turnaround times.
- Identify, investigate, assess and report on credit risk matters making sure that it complies with Worldline Merchant Underwriting Policies and Procedures.
- Perform periodic reviews of level 1 and level 2 merchants to make sure there is no change in their credit risk exposure.
- Present assessment recommendations to the relevant committees.
- Assure the completeness and correctness of the client documentation as well as preparation for review by various domestic and international credit risk committees.
- Report every essential risk incident.
- Work closely with other team members and advises or assists colleagues in the daily tasks.
- Maintain input or data quality of risk management systems.
- Analyse areas of potential risk to the assets, earning capacity, or success of organisations.
- Gathers risk-related data from internal or external resources to identify merchant's business model.
- Take (more complex/less complex) operational decisions necessary to assure the quality standards.
- Take part in meetings with other teams to share knowledge and sharing the information with the team.
- Take (more complex/less complex) operational decisions necessary to assure the quality standards and provides support to junior colleagues.

**Signs of success**
- You proactively identify new credit risk trends and participate in developing appropriate credit risk mitigation strategies.
- You implement, adapt, and maintain a unified credit risk process / policy within your own team.

**Skills we can’t do without**:

- You have 5+ years of experience in acquiring credit risk environment.
- You are comfortable with analysing financial statements and speaking to any CFO about it.
- Understanding of credit concepts such as PD, LGD, EAD and various levels of credit exposure.
- You have a very good understanding of acquirer risks and obligations (compliance risk, chargeback risk, scheme rules, etc.).
- You are fluent in English both spoken and written.
- You are a good communicator and able to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

**Skills we’d like**:

- You hold a University Degree in Commerce/Accounting or Finance.
- Previous experience with an acquirer or a payment service provider is a strong plus.
- Previous exposure to AML/KYC and awareness of fraud is a plus.
