Smart Commercial Solar is pleased to announce a position for a Lead Analyst to join our new Solutions Team. As an industry leader, with a modern, flexible workplace, and opportunities for professional growth and development, Smart is growing rapidly in the commercial solar space and this presents an exciting opportunity in the renewable energy industry.
This role will be located in our North Sydney office, and will be reporting to the Head of Solutions.
**Responsibilities**:
The Lead Analyst will be responsible for developing, maintaining and operating analysis tools to enable efficient generation of figures and proposals relating to solar, batteries, demand management, and other emerging energy market opportunities. Specific responsibilities will include:
- Working with sales, engineering, and solutions to build and refine analysis tools for ease of use, quality of output, and accuracy.
- Identifying and implementing methods of analysis for new and emerging energy market opportunities
- Training and quality control over Solutions Architects who use the various tools
**Key Attributes of the role**:
- Have an understanding of energy markets and a sound understanding of photovoltaic systems
- Have experience building analytical models, ideally in multiple platforms
- Be an independent thinker, with an ability to identify procedural and technical issues and suggest workable solutions
- Be organised and able to work on multiple projects at one time
- Able to maintain excellent internal and external working relationships
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite
- Be ready to** hit the ground running**
