**About the role**

Reporting directly to the Head of Data, you will lead a talented and ambitious team of data analysts. This team provides data analytics into every department within the business. You will lead them by being the stewards of the metrics / schemas / definitions, being the guard for the data quality and driving the standard bear for data excellence.

**Your Focus**
- Leading a large high trained and efficient team of data analysts
- Upholding and extending process: 2-week sprints, agile, Definition of read, Definition of done, JIRA, confluence, bitbucket, code review, data quality checks, testing, data reconciliations, documentation, and internal workshopping.
- Working stakeholders to develop business problems and requests for analytics streams of work
- Mentoring and coaching Data Analysts
- Developing and executing on Data Analytics strategy
- Partner closely with our high technical Data Engineer team

**About You**
- Strong technical analyst foundation - BI, data modelling, and SQL (MSSQL, TSQL, Redshift) level that reflects real world experience, shows a strong opinion on practical principles, and practice in teaching from junior to senior analysts.
- Strong people manager and team leader experience
- Commercial and business value mindset. Clearly understands the purpose and motivation of the work, in all its forms and levels.
- Motivated by green fields opportunities and shows creativity and strategic thinking to spread into these areas.
- Extensive stakeholder management
