**About Us**:
Sugo Toys is expanding We’re looking for an experienced **Retail Store Manager** to lead and oversee the daily operations of our new city location. Join a growing brand at the forefront of the Australian collectible toy market and help us deliver an exceptional customer experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Daily Operations**: Ensure the smooth and efficient running of all store activities.
- **Customer Experience**: Deliver exceptional customer care and maintain professional service standards.
- **Merchandising**: Develop and implement merchandising strategies, ensuring compliance with visual merchandising standards (VMD).
- **Team Leadership**: Coach, mentor, and train staff on product knowledge and customer service standards. Conduct performance appraisals and implement improvement plans as needed.
- **Customer Relations**: Address and resolve customer complaints or inquiries, documenting and reporting issues to HQ.
- **Staff Management**: Recruit, onboard, and train employees. Manage the weekly roster and oversee fortnightly payroll timesheets.
- **Inventory Management**: Oversee stock levels, forecast sales trends, and plan promotions, ensuring the right stock quantities are available.
- **Reporting**: Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports and analyses to senior management.
- **Sales Floor Engagement**: Regularly tour the sales floor, engaging with customers to identify and address immediate issues.
- **Experience**: Proven retail management experience with strong leadership and team management skills.
- **Sales Focused**: Ability to drive sales, meet performance targets, and motivate the team.
- **Problem Solver**: Effective at managing and resolving customer complaints or operational challenges.
- **Communication**: Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering a professional client experience.
- **Presentation**: Outstanding personal image and adherence to Sugo Toys’ presentation standards.
- **Knowledgeable**: Familiarity with anime, superhero IPs, and the collectibles market is a must.
- **Languages**: Bonus points for proficiency in Chinese or Japanese.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Leadership: 1 year (preferred)
- Retail Management: 1 year (preferred)
- Interview will take place at our Padstow HQ.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Bonus
