A large national provider of home loans and a household name is seeking a Head of their learning and development team and Change Management program. The company is looking to expand its learning and development team and seeking an individual to drive training initiatives and change management programs throughout the business.
The Learning and Development Department is responsible for the delivery of training and induction of new employees, the development of existing employees, creating training content, updating and implementation of new policies and procedures, targeted training and managing reward and recognition. Working closely with the Project Management Team, L&D roll out training due to changes to systems, legislation and compliance requirements as well as induction of all new starters to the business. This varied role will involve a combination of managing the L&D program of training and trainers and ensuring change management readiness throughout the various business units on the floor..
**Responsibilities**:
- Managed the creation of training content to be delivered through presentations, individual training sessions or group workshops in accordance with business needs
- Holding training sessions through your team of trainers and induction of employees into the call centre
- Writing and updating training materials as required, developing learning plans, impact assessments due to change, new training activities
- Liaising with managers across the business to identify training gaps of staff and providing assistance
- Facilitate Induction training and coach and mentor trainers in several areas of the business both for the Contact Centre and mortgage processing teams
- Work with the Project Management Team to assist in project roll outs
- Suggesting methods to improve delivery of training
- Previous experience in a similar position in banking or finance, you will have Cert IV in Training and Assessment and managed a Learning and Development team and had direct exposure in change management practices
- Possess high energy and enthusiasm and motivate and lead your team
- Experience in facilitating/delivering training to groups of people
- Experience creating content in an online intranet and other e-learning systems
- Experience in designing and writing training material (guides, desk aids, training books, etc) with strong attention to detail including editing and proof reading
