**About the Role**

Our Career Medical Officer is responsible for managing the **acute clinical care of patients and assisting in the provision of an efficient, safe and professional medical service to all patients** in the Hospital under the direction of Specialists/Visiting Medical Officers (VMO’s).

This position will work across all areas of the hospital and provide support to Visiting Medical Officers in the provision of inpatient care.

**About You**

To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate a strong clinical skillset with the ability to manage a broad spectrum of patients across our facility including medical, surgical and maternity.

**You will also bring**:

- Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Minimum 3 years Australian clinical experience
- Hold appropriate Visa/Residency status to work in Australia
- Current resuscitation skills including BLS, ALS, PALS and airway support skills.

North Shore Private Hospital is a 313-bed medical/surgical and maternity hospital which performs most surgical specialties including cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, advanced general and colorectal, urology, spinal surgery, paediatrics, oncology and medical care.

**Requirements**:

- _Must provide a _**National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children** check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
