BI Test Lead

Our digital practice is growing, and we are now seeking an additional BI Test lead **(Wealth Domain experience) **to assist our team on exciting upcoming projects This role is an ongoing contract opportunity, initially for 6-12 months with possible extensions to work on to Investment Data space based in our Melbourne CBD office in the heart of City.

This is a Hybrid role, expecting to be 2 days onsite.

In this role, the BI Test Lead role is embedded within the project team and is responsible for performing testing activities that verify work items against their Acceptance Criteria and validates the product as per the Definition of Done. A project created where the objective is to improve the visibility on client’s Managed Equities performance. The role also plays a part in influencing project decisions and identifying areas for process improvement. You are highly motivated and will bring energy and enthusiasm to the role. As a Lead you will document and execute tests, provide testing, and defect support and quality assurance across a range of investment data activities delivered using an Agile methodology, including testing of business models and products for the Investment Technology - Public Markets Pillar.

You will have the confidence to collaborate with business leaders, seamlessly switch between tasks and through natural leadership.

**Your day at NTT**

Working on several requirements doing the following on each:

- BI Test Led to assist with the manual execution of testing. Primary focus is to execute system testing of the functionality developed against migrated data.
- Secondary focus of the tester is to assist the testing team with progressive system testing if time permits.
- Create and execute tests against plan including defect management / triage
- Attend sprint planning and other forums to ensure testing activities are understood, documented and estimated accurately
- Attend daily stand-ups and other project status forums, working collaboratively with the wider team and contributing on testing progress
- Monitor and report on testing activity and test metrics aligned to project deliverables and reporting.
- Prior experiences with data migration testing are highly desirable.
- Prior experience in financial domain or wealth management is highly mandatory but ideally experience working in Investment or Superannuation businesses.
- Extensive BI testing experience required.
- Strong Stakeholder management skills
- Compile test scripts.
- Data gathering, and quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs.

**What would make you a good fit for this role?**
- Technical fluency - able to communicate information/issues to non-technical individuals.
- Minimum 5 years BI testing experience.
- Experience in Test Driven Development and Agile Testing methodologies
- Understanding of modern data ETL and integration technologies / concepts is desirable e.g. APIs, Excel Cubes
- Qualification(s) in relevant testing certifications strongly desired (e.g. ISTQB)
- Have a solid understanding of financial services organisations preferably with an Investment Fundamentals qualification e.g. CFA Institute’s Investment Foundations Program
- Experience using the Atlassian stack, particularly JIRA, Confluence and Zephyr for Atlassian
- Experience in self-discovery and visualisation technologies is desirable (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
