We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer with strong expertise in SAP data integration and analytics. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building interactive dashboards, optimizing performance, and delivering data-driven insights that support enterprise decision-making.

*Key Responsibilities*

  • Design, develop, and manage highly interactive Power BI dashboards and reports integrated with SAP data sources (BW, HANA, ECC).
  • Establish and maintain robust data connections between Power BI and SAP systems, including BW queries, HANA views, and OData feeds.
  • Partner with SAP functional and technical teams to define KPIs, business metrics, and scalable data models that support enterprise reporting needs.
  • Optimize Power BI datasets, gateways, and scheduled data refresh processes to ensure consistent and reliable performance.
  • Apply advanced data modeling practices, DAX functions, and Power Query (M) transformations for efficient data processing.
  • Ensure compliance with security and governance standards through data security policies and row-level access controls.
  • Translate complex business requirements into intuitive, visually compelling reports and dashboards that drive informed decisions.
  • Conduct performance tuning, testing, and troubleshooting to maintain high-quality BI solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and SAP data integration best practices to enhance BI capabilities.

*Qualifications*

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Analytics, with a minimum of 3 years focused on Power BI.
  • Proven expertise in connecting Power BI with SAP BW, HANA, and OData sources.
  • Strong command of DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling best practices.
  • Good understanding of SAP data structures, business processes, and ERP systems.
  • Experience with performance tuning, data visualization principles, and report optimization.
  • Familiarity with implementing data security, governance policies, and role-based access controls in Power BI.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
