Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Brambles Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

CHEP helps move more goods to more people, in more places than any other organization on earth via our 347 million pallets, crates and containers. We employ approximately 13,000 people and operate in 60 countries. Through our pioneering and sustainable share-and-reuse business model, the world's biggest brands trust us to help them transport their goods more efficiently, safely and with less environmental impact.

What does that mean for you? You'll join an international organization big enough to take you anywhere, and small enough to get you there sooner. You'll help change how goods get to market and contribute to global sustainability. You'll be empowered to bring your authentic self to work and be surrounded by diverse and driven professionals. And you can maximize your work-life balance and flexibility through our Hybrid Work Model.

Job DescriptionJoin our dynamic Business Intelligence team at Brambles, where innovation meets excellence. You'll play a crucial role in driving data-driven decisions and supporting our global operations.

As BI Platform Analyst, you will be at the forefront of developing, delivering, and supporting our global BI application environment. Your expertise in SAP BI functions will be pivotal in aligning our BI solutions with Brambles' global functional needs.

Ready to elevate your career by working on cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions?

Key Responsibilities May Include:

  • Monitor and enhance platform performance to optimize end-user experience and improve overall business process workflows.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, assess platform capabilities, and convey system limitations and opportunities for improvement.
  • Design, configure, and document platform enhancements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and adherence to best practices.
  • Oversee development and testing processes, including unit testing, user acceptance testing, integration testing, and regression testing, to ensure successful implementation.
  • Identify and implement system and process improvements to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and data quality.
  • Troubleshoot user requests, addressing technical issues related to workflows, security, and interfaces to support problem resolution.
  • Create test scripts, participate in user acceptance testing, and develop training materials to assist with end-user training and adoption.
  • Share expert functional and technical knowledge to improve team competence and ensure smooth platform operations.

About You

You're a skilled and trusted BI expert with a passion for turning data into actionable insights. With hands-on expertise in SAP Business Warehouse (BW) - including SAP BW on HANA, SAP ABAP, and SAP BusinessObjects - you thrive in environments where enterprise reporting and customer support intersect.

You're confident working with tools like SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Power BI, and Analysis for Office, and you bring a forward-thinking mindset with knowledge of next-gen technologies like SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Datasphere.

You've successfully delivered complex BI applications, dashboards, and reports, and you're known for your ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. Your technical toolkit includes system development, configuration, and maintenance, along with strong skills in query development, data quality management, and system integration - especially with platforms like SAP ERP, Oracle EPBCS, and Salesforce.

You understand the full Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and are comfortable working in both agile and waterfall environments. Your strengths lie in functional analysis, process mapping, and requirement negotiation, and you bring a collaborative, communicative approach to every project. You build strong relationships with stakeholders and peers, and you're driven by a desire to make a real impact through data and technology.
