Alex Fraser is proud to be part of the Hanson Group of Companies since 2018. Hanson Australia is a leader in the supply of building and construction materials across all segments from large engineering and infrastructure projects, multi residential and detached buildings, commercial, industrial & social developments to smaller domestic alterations and additions.

**The role**:
You will be the driving force for creating and executing a strategy with key stakeholders to deliver results in the successful acquisition of suitable recycling plants, the identification of suitable development sites, and subsequent site reconfigurations or plant construction.

**What you will be doing**:

- Project manage the development of an integrated recycling business in the Eastern Region (ER)
- Identify suitable sites pending market assessment and management of subsequent development approvals and plant construction with the end result leading to the negotiation and due diligence process
- Determine and secure raw material sources to increase circular product use and maximise utilisation of the NSW quarry footprint for recycling purposes
- Remain up to date with legislative, regulatory, or guidelines changes that affect our business units
- Developing ER Recycling sales and marketing strategies in consultation with the sales and production team to maximise opportunities for product sales and revenue growth

**About you**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Engineering/Mining/Geology/Town Planning or related field or significant relevant experience
- Previous experience in recycling, particulalry in the construction materials space
- Have a working knowledge of the development laws and approval processes in NSW
- Thorough understanding of the Australian Recycling industry and circular economy
- Ability to develop strong relationships with operational business leaders within both Alex Fraser and Hanson
- Project Management experience and proven track record of delivering projects
- People Leadership experience
