The People and Culture Business Partner will work within our Broadcast division, reporting into the Head of People and Culture, Broadcast. This Business Partner will play a critical role in defining and delivering against our people strategy, partnering with our leadership team, building capability and managing change in a growth business.
**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Work with the Head of People and Culture to delivery the people strategy
- Partner with leaders across our Broadcast division to understand the business drivers and how people can impact the performance of the business
- Partner with business leadership to identify opportunities to attract, develop and retain people to achieve their potential
- Build a consistent understanding of internal talent and insight into the labour market
- Build plans to ensure best quality talent in key roles including talent mapping
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to People Leaders (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions)
- Build and execute on succession/risk management plans in key roles
- Lead organisational development activities to develop and enhance current organisational capabilities
- Support our leaders through change and transition
- Work with the broader People and Culture team to embed Enterprise wide programs
**Qualifications**:
- Strong commercial acumen - must be able to understand core business drivers and sources of commercial value Influencing - must be able to engage and influence a broad range of stakeholder
- Solid experience and track record (5-10 years) as a HR Business Partner in a large business unit - partnering with senior stakeholders and driving significant change
- Courage - must be able to form and hold a point of view using data and experience, even if it's not a popular one
- Analytics - must be able to take a range of data and draw useful and relevant insights to influence and gain commitment and action
- Change management - be able to see the opportunity for the organisation beyond what is already defined and then lead that change into the business
- Demonstrated experience negotiating with and influencing Executives and Senior Managers ensuring proactive and commercially focussed HR solutions that align business needs and people strategy
- Strong understanding of strategic role of HR in the business and demonstrated capacity to align actions with bigger picture
- Demonstrated experience with organisational design, significant organisational change and driving transformation
- Knowledge of best practice principles for people practices including employee relations, recruitment, reward, performance management, talent development and engagement
- Demonstrated experience in leading change initiatives and managing projects
