Digital Experience Specialist

**The Opportunity**

Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a passionate digital guru to join our team on a permanent basis. The Digital Marketing SEO Specialist is responsible for the organic digital performance of Medibank portfolios of health insurance, health and wellbeing, and financial products.

Working within the agile Content, Optimisation and Personalisation team, the SEO Specialist has the primary accountability to help plan, prioritise and execute digital optimisations that drive organic channel performance. They will also be required to support content creators with organic search trend insights, keyword research and analysis to help create and optimise digital experiences that achieve business objectives for acquisition, retention and health engagement.

**This role will see you**
- Consult with digital development teams to ensure SEO requirements are properly implemented on newly developed code
- Perform on-site technical audits and provide best practice recommendations and approaches to enhance onsite performance across Medibank’s website (metadata, metatags, redirects, schema, sitemaps, internal linking, etc).
- Leverage SEO tools, third-party vendors and conduct research (consumer behaviours, search trends, competitor analysis) to identify opportunities for optimisations to content and digital experiences
- Educate content creators on best practice SEO considerations and support them with thorough analysis and insights
- Champion the cause for SEO across the business and help to educate stakeholders to build experiences with best practice SEO considerations
- Help set performance indicators for SEO that everyone understands, and which complement overall business objectives

**About You**

This is a great role for a pro-active contributor who has a keen interest in process improvement. You will have previous experience in a similar role, with the ability to confidently execute an SEO strategy and engage with a range of stakeholders along the way.

To be successful in the role, you will need to be a motivated and creative professional with a passion for partnering with stakeholders to ensure positive outcomes. Critical to success will be the ability to tailor communications dependent on your audience, and know how to effectively engage and translate technical language. Experience in working across SEO tools and an intimate knowledge of HTML are essential, and experience with Adobe Experience Manager would be highly regarded.
