As Capital Com Australia's Sales Manager, you will manage, oversee, and drive different areas of the local sales department, as a member of the senior management team.

You will drive sustainable sales growth and new business opportunities, and manage the local sales team to accomplish targets and deliver a great client experience. You will spend time coaching and monitoring agents while getting in the trenches which may involve addressing issues/client escalations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage, motivate, and drive the performance of the sales team.
- Develop and execute well-defined sales strategies in different areas (conversion, retention, reactivation, referral, upgrade) to increase new traders and active traders.
- Set monthly targets for teams and agents, provide weekly/monthly/ad-hoc reports and agent KPIs, vs budget, vs other business within the Group.
- Set daily focus points for the team, and achieve sales productivity.
- Manage the education and development of the sales team.
- Provide training and upskilling to team members, and identify the team’s motivators and issues to achieve the best team performance.
- Ensure sales practices are in compliance with internal rules and regulations.
- Develop and coordinate the communication of marketing/promotional plans and new features/products
- Work closely with local client-facing staff to ensure that an excellent level of service is provided to the client base.
- Work closely with other managers and identify improvements in process, efficiency and productivity
- Continual assessment of competitive threats, make recommendations as to how to mitigate against these threats and identify new sales opportunities.
- Organise market updates videos, seminars/webinars, interstate visits, and trade shows if required.
- Lead the team through the whole employee life cycle i.e. recruitment and selection, initial and ongoing training, and performance management (from the probationary period through to commission payout, the regular appraisal cycle, and any performance issues).
- Assist to the overall planning and assist the company’s business growth plan, be able to take a big picture view of the overall progress outside of Sales

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 years experience in managing a high-performance sales team in a heavily regulated compliance environment
- Hands-on management style with a track record of inspiring sales team with a passion
- Proficient numerical ability and able to work with numbers
- Experience with tracking and sales analytical tools (e.g. Tableau)
- Demonstrated experience handling clients’ complaints
- Availability to work the hours as required, including occasional weekend events as well as interstate/overseas travel
- Degree in marketing, finance-related field, MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification (is desirable)
- RG146 general advice qualifications (generic knowledge, FX, derivatives)
- Passionate and knowledgeable about CFD trading and financial markets
- Self-starter, proactive and move fast
- Results driven. Show drive and tenacity in reaching goals, always seeking opportunities for growth
- Highly developed communication skills, both written and spoken
- Adaptable problem solver, looking for alternative solutions
- Compliance orientated
