We are now seeking an Operations Assistant based in our Australian warehouse to ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of programs while meeting our financial and operational objectives.

As 2IC to the Operations Manager, the main duties of the Operations Assistant are:

- Assist in overseeing all operations. including: _
- Liaise between the Operations Manager and staff regarding priorities.
- Work with a range of stakeholders for projects and daily operations maintaining a high level of communication (written and verbal).
- Work with the Operations Manager to develop SOPs to ensure consistency and support and drive efficiency.
- Provide general administration support, such as preparing meeting agendas, attending meetings, producing, compiling and/or coordinating general correspondence including financial reports.
- Work with Human Resources and Operations Managers to recruit, interview, select, hire and employ staff when required or as directed.
- Order fulfilment including pick and pack orders.
- Booking orders for shipment with carries and parcel drop-off at the post office.
- Prepare the warehouses to receive shipments.
- Maintaining stock levels on websites.
- Conduct physical counts of products and reconcile them with data to maintain accurate and adequate inventory levels.
- Inspect all warehouse equipment and order repairs and/or replacements when required.
- Assist in empowering employees to take responsibility for their roles and achieve their goals.
- Continually analyse all operations and present suggestions for improvement to the Operations Manager and senior managers/directors.
- Assist with website management and promotional material.
- Act as second-in-command to the Operations Manager, take care of all duties in their absence.
- Communicate regularly with the International Managers, General Operations Manager, Managing Director, Financial Controller, and other designated contacts within the organization.
- Prepare periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track strategic goal accomplishment.
- Supply chain operations, including: _
- Purchase order management.
- Liaise with existing and potential suppliers to obtain information on delivery capabilities for goods and services.
- Manage product returns, credits, and discrepancies.
- Procure goods, services, and materials to support business operations and requirements.
- Maintain and organise domestic and international supply chain logistics.
- Liase with engineers and product developers to bring to market new designs, products and solutions.
- Assist sales operations, including: _
- Assist with website management and promotional material.
- Review and edit product listing on various websites.
- Maintain and support eCommerce sales, promotions, clearances, and other sales-related activities.
- Seek out new customers and sales opportunities where possible or when instructed.
- Any other duties the Operations Manager assigns, having regard to your skills, training, and experience._

- Education: technical degree preferred
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent English language skills
- Strong Excel knowledge and advantage
- Sound understanding of accounting and reporting

- Strong organizational skills
- Willing to work hard and have a 'can do’ attitude

Experience in sales would serve you well in this position.

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
