Great opportunity for an experienced leader to drive sales growth across our Peripheral Intervention ANZ. This role will be based in Macquarie Park, NSW.
**Job Description**:
Key Responsibilities:
This role will have direct responsibility and accountability for the following:
- Provide vision, leadership and strategic direction to the sales force team to achieve national revenue, growth and profit targets.- Maintain superior knowledge of products, procedures and the clinical environment- Identify, develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, key opinion leaders, decision makers and influencers, including conducting regular field visits
- 60% of time in field- Lead all aspects of sales and expense target performance including the management of the tender process, achievement of sales targets, analysis of territory results, identification of opportunities, report preparation, pricing qualification, opportunity analysis, sales coaching and marketing strategy execution.- Participate in the development of national revenue and gross profit budgets as well as marketing strategies and on a regular basis report against these and other performance indicators as required or directed.- Develop sales plans by product and by territory in alignment with the marketing plans and commit to action plans with well-defined time metrics.- Attend relevant conferences and trade exhibitions.- Collaborate closely with key internal departments and associates and develop cross functional contacts critical to business performance.- Identify, collate and present team feedback and report on competitor activity.- Seek feedback from customers and share with team, incorporating into improvements.- Identify new business opportunities within existing portfolio and act upon accordingly.- Active contributor to all aspects of Commercial Excellence, by developing and coaching the sales team in the BD Way of Selling to meet or exceed sales revenue and profitability objectives.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications e.g. Business, Commerce, Science, Paramedical- Solid experience in sales / sales management in the healthcare industry, and in medical devices- Proven understanding of hospital systems, healthcare and regulatory requirements and issues- Demonstrated experience in managing a team desirable.- Strong Business acumen and commercial awareness.- Ability to manage appropriate customer expectations.- Problem solving ability and demonstrated examples of innovative / collaborative solutions.- Excellent oral and written communication skills - ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with people at all levels and establish relationships with key decision makers.- Excellent presentation skills- Tenacious and highly self-motivated.- Technical competence and clinical experience in medical device practices advantageous.- Marketing experience advantageous- Demonstrated competence in computer literacy with knowledge of MS Office and Outlook.
