YOUR ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and agile National Operations Coordinator - Aerospace to join our Air & Ocean team - based from our Pinkenba QLD offices - supporting aerospace clients across the Pacific. In this high-impact role, you will manage international air and ocean freight operations and coordinate time-critical Aircraft on Ground (AOG) cases. The role operates in a fast-paced environment and includes participation in a rotating 24/7 on-call roster for urgent logistics recovery.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
**Specifically, you will**:
Coordinate end-to-end import and export shipments across air and ocean freight
Process documentation including commercial invoices, AWBs, BOLs and customs declarations
Work with carriers, customs brokers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
Ensure compliance with ABF, DAFF, RACA, IATA DG, WHO-GDP and client SOPs
Manage temperature-controlled, high-value, and AOG cargo movements
Respond to AOG logistics requests during rostered on-call periods, including expedited shipments
Maintain job-level financials, billing, and KPI performance in CargoWise
Contribute to internal audits and compliance reporting.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Completion of Year 12; vocational or tertiary qualification in logistics or trade (desirable)
Solid experience in international freight forwarding operations (air and/or ocean)
Demonstrated success managing time-critical freight or AOG movements
CargoWise proficiency (job control, billing, milestone tracking)
Strong working knowledge of Incoterms, clearance procedures, and global trade documentation
DG certification and RACA screener accreditation (desirable)
A willingness to work flexibly, including participation in a rotating 24/7 on-call roster.
