Easy-going Mid-Sized Civil Construction Company seeks an experienced Civil Supervisor.
Our client has tasked us with finding a Civil Supervisor, with experience in ponds/containment & bulk earthworks.
They're hoping for long term, meaningful relationship (workwise)
Could you be THE ONE they're looking for?
Perhaps you'll 'make beautiful music together.'
Maybe that was a bit too far?
A bit Arty Farty?
But seriously, orchestrating a crew to deliver on a large scale project is its own kind of 'symphony' when it works well. Like a conductor, you'll direct, and rely on each specialised individual to play their part in the team performance when called upon.
As the Supervisor, you'll lead, from the front, and manage and with a healthy self confidence (not arrogance) which engenders trust and respect.
You'll be able to co-ordinate the efforts of your crew, corralling 35 to 40 specialised plant operators to to work as a collective and deliver overall project outcomes harmoniously.
Our client has prioritised 3 key qualities they'd find
- VERY ATTRACTIVE_ in the Civil Supervisor they get into a relationship with (hire)
1 Most importantly, an aptitude for working with people through effective leadership
2 Technical capacity
- able to chunk down the workload to daily targets, and monetary values
3 History - yep, they'd prefer you've 'had a past'- Ideally they'd prefer you've worked your way up from a start in Plant Operations, and to also have some previous exposure to large scale ponds and containment projects.
**Nitty Gritty**
On offer, $170 - 180K (plus Super) on 2 weeks on/ 1 off basis.
Flights paid from (almost) any major airport. (But Brisbane is the easiest commute)
Accommodation and meals while on site ( so no hunting and gathering at the end of a long day)
This role is ONLY open to applicants who already have the LEGAL RIGHT TO LIVE AND WORK IN AUSTRALIA.
