In the wake of recent growth, Malcolm Civil is seeking a qualified Civil Supervisor for projects across South East Queensland.

Malcolm Civil handles a diverse range of projects, from principle contracted projects with budgets up to $10m involving up to 12 trades, to smaller specialized civil structures or pavement and bridge remediation. Our clientele includes local authorities, commercial entities, and private stakeholders, and project durations vary from 14 months to 4 weeks.

Ideal candidates will possess:

Leadership and On-site Management:

  • Efficiently manage on-site deliveries and resource requirements.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Lead on-site activities, collaborating with the team to effectively manage day-to-day operations and cultivate a safety culture.

QSE Planning and Implementation:

  • Contribute to and implement Quality, Safety, and Environmental (QSE) plans and procedures with the project team.
  • Conduct safety pre-starts, toolbox talks, and inspections.

Construction Expertise:

  • Utilize construction experience to enhance methods, prioritizing safety and efficiency.

Team Development and Training:

  • Identify and address training needs for the site team, ensuring the acquisition of the right skills and attitude.

Site Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Monitor site productivities, report to the Project Manager, and assist in recognizing variations and potential delays.

Project Collaboration and Documentation:

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders for smooth execution.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, progress reports, and safety records.
