Working for a member owned bank which puts it's people before profits. 100% owned by it's members, they are seeking a permanent customer service officer to join their team based in the Melbourne CBD

**Your new role**
This Not-for-Profit Bank, located in the heart of Melbourne CBD, is seeking a dedicated and motivated Customer Service Officer to join their team. As a Customer Service Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to members and ensuring that they have a positive experience with their bank.
- Handle and process as required, new memberships, term deposits, new accounts, account access method enquiries and identify opportunities to cross sell banking products and services.
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions.
- Adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Providing support to other departments as needed.
- Participating in ongoing training and development.

**What you'll need to succeed**

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of banking and financial products preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Flexibility to work Monday - Friday 9am -7pm( with occasional Saturday 9am -5pm coverage)
