**Bed Allocation Coordinator**

**Hollywood Private Hospital** is seeking a **Bed Allocation Coordinator** to join their team in this **Permanent Part-Time** opportunity.

**About the Role**

As a Bed Allocation Coordinator, you will coordinate the admission and bed allocation of all patients entering the hospital using clinical judgement to facilitate the most appropriate placement of patients within the organisation. You will report directly to the Patient Flow Manager.

**About You**

To succeed in this role, you will meet the following criteria:

- Relevant registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
- Experience in the use of electronic bed management systems and electronic patient journey boards highly desirable
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills
- Highly effective interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to make clinically appropriate decisions in placement of patients
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service to external and internal customers
- Management qualifications desirable

**Requirements**:

- Must be **vaccinated against Covid-19** a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation
- _Must provide a _**National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children** check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases
