Product Specialist **PPG Industries**: **AUS - Clayton Plant**: As a Product Specialist, you will to grow sales and to improve profitability of the PPG ANZ Refinish business unit, including LIC, Protec and Consumables segments, through the management of the Refinish product portfolio, ensuring that state of the art products are professionally launched, and that products at the end of their life cycle are made obsolete. You will report to Marketing Director ANZ. **Key Responsibilities** - Achieve zero injuries. Ensure individual housekeeping to agreed standard - Contribute to the development maintenance of the ANZ product plan - Develop supplier relationships to identify new products that could extend the consumable ranges - Launch new products according to the product plan, providing all necessary information and training materials to the sales and training teams - To ensure that customer issues are addressed and Pursue quality issues with suppliers to ensure issues are resolved and costs recovered - Evaluation and assessment must always be objective, and including external and internal controls so that the data can be seen in its full context - Monitor competitor new product releases and then direct product evaluation resources to produce data useful to the sales & marketing teams, including pricing and measured performance data - Ad hoc duties as required **Qualifications** - Good understanding of the Refinish market, with ideally, several years bodyshop experience - Including ability to present business results and make proposals to management - Good IT skills including the ability to collate and analyze data - Since the role necessitates obtaining the confidence and co-operation of others in diverse parts of the business are key to this role - A background in marketing and / or product and project management would be highly advantageous **About us**: **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD** **The PPG Way** Every single day at PPG: **We partner with customers to create mutual value.** **We are "One PPG" to the world.** **We trust our people every day, in every way.** **We make it happen.** **We run it like we own it.** **We do better today than yesterday - everyday.** Benefits will be discussed with you by your recruiter during the hiring process.
