We are currently seeking an experienced **Hydraulic Build Up Specialist** to join our busy and expanding team at **Clayton **on a full time basis offering a competitive salary with overtime and an RDO.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Service Supervisor - New Equipment, you will be required to be a hydraulic matter expert within the Clayton branch, whilst adhering to company safety and quality assurance standards.

**Key responsibilities of this role include**:

- Provide a senior level of Hydraulic expertise and capability in ensuring all standard and nonstandard hydraulic build specifications are accurate
- Trouble shooting of Cat equipment
- Provide written specification of any nonstandard OEM hydraulic modifications
- Engage and involve apprentices in learning opportunities
- Recording all work orders and service reports
- Ensuring warranty requirements are adhered to
- Parts management as well as tool management
- Cleaning of machinery upon completion of repairs

**ABOUT YOU**

**To be considered for this role you will have the following skills, experience & attributes**:

- Previous experience within a heavy industry environment
- Trade Qualified - Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent
- Exceptional mechanical ability and a solid knowledge of the Cat product (highly desirable)
- Understanding of operating systems such as SIS and DBS (highly desirable)
- Current Australian Driver's License
- Excellent safety awareness
- Superior planning and organising skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise
