Training and Culture Change Manager

This role is predominantly to deliver on targeted metrics and to ensure that the workforce is trained, fully compliant and technically competent to deliver the work program safely and efficiently. The other side of the position is to effect positive change within the Training and Development team and to bring the workforce into a more symbiotic relationship with the rest of the business. You will be expected to utilise strong people skills alongside business savvy to effect overall departmental change for the better.

**The Company**
The company is a well-established energy provider based in WA. The division where the Training and Culture Change Manager will be in charge of is Training and Development. The culture of the business is a well established and effective provider but with some changes that need to be implemented with a large workforce with a manual and technical skillset.
**The Role**
This role is predominantly to deliver on targeted metrics and to ensure that the workforce is trained, fully compliant and technically competent to deliver the work program safely and efficiently. The other side of the position is to effect positive change within the Training and Development team and to bring the workforce into a more symbiotic relationship with the rest of the business. You will be expected to utilise strong people skills alongside business savvy to effect overall departmental change for the better.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure that the Workforce are technically competent and up to date
- Mentor, manage and develop the team
- Effect positive change within the culture of the workforce team
- Develop and deliver training programs
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Management of KPIs and achieving them
- Coordinate all of the relevant training services activities to ensure the overall plan is maintained
- Capability Development
- Report directly into the Head of Safety, Environment, Quality and Training
**Skills and Experience**
- Experience of managing training teams
- Demonstrated experience of effecting change
- Strategic Thinking
- Understanding of established workforce teams
- Really strong communication, management, and mentoring skills
- Experience of developing training programs
- Decision making/Problem Solving
- General business acumen
- Strong analytical skills
**Qualifications**
**_ Required_**
- Tertiary qualifications in business management/similar OR industry and time served experience
**_Desirable_**
- Post grad or tertiary qualification in H&S/Quality/Training
- Energy industry experience (electrical)
- Data analysis skills using
- Electrical Engineering qualification
