**The Business Continuity Manager is responsible for**:

- updating, managing, maintaining and testing the Department of Health's business continuity management program;
- ensuring that the Department is compliant with all legislative and policy requirements relating to business continuity; and
- managing the Department's business continuity team.

The business continuity program manager will have direct oversight and responsibility for business continuity program operations, reporting, and day-to-day activities. The business continuity manager will manage and set the programmatic expectations that guide relevant Departmental teams in drafting their continuity plans.
