- **HOURLY RANGE**: From $43.64 - Level 4 - Li-Ve Tasmania Enterprise Agreement 2020.
- **HOURS**: Hours varying between 7am-4pm Monday-Friday

The role of the genU **Team Leader** - **Residential Services **is to provide leadership and operational management to our shared supported accommodation homes, ensuring an empowering and enabling environment for people with disabilities, whilst maximising opportunities for the attainment of personal goals and lifestyles that are valued by the wider community.

**Site location**:
This is a supported independent living home located in Chigwell, Hobart. It is home to 8 residents, 4 living in the main house, two living in semi-detached units out the back and two living in individual units further up.

There is a mix of client support needs at this house, including manual handling, complex health supports, behaviour support, meal management support all amongst your normal BAU of supporting within a residential home.

You will join a collaborative and supportive team, who will provide individualised training so you can best support our varied cohort of residents.

**About You**:
Our ideal **Team Leader **is an exceptional communicator who can easily develop and maintain rapport with people of all abilities. You will be highly organised and demonstrate excellent time management skills.

**You will have the following**:

- Broad experience delivering services in the disability industry.
- Complex behavioural and dual-diagnosis care experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to provide person centred active supports for residents.
- Experience leading and managing and providing remote team support to staff.

**You will also meet the following essential requirements**:

- Qualification in Disability, Community Services, or a related field; or a minimum of Certificate IV in Disability with substantial experience in the field; or substantial experience in the field and willing to undertake studies within 12 months of commencing employment.
- Current First Aid
- Certificate II Level and CPR certificate.
- Assist clients with medication
- Current NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate or willingness to obtain.
- Current Working with Vulnerable People Check with NDIS endorsement or willingness to obtain.
