The Social Work team at Pearson Allied Health Services is seeking an experienced clinical leader to lead their small, close-knit team.
We are seeking a versatile social worker with extensive clinical experience. We are looking for someone who has experience in the disability sector. Leading a small team requires a hands-on manager who has broad clinical experience. Not only will you be providing high level clinical supervision, you will have your own case load to ensure you maintain your highly developed skills in this area.

Pearson Allied Health Services specialise in providing allied health services to children, young people, and adults with disabilities. Offering a flexible service, sessions can take place in our office, our therapy house, our farm or within the community. Our goal is to provide a truly person-centered service while working within a trans-disciplinary team.
**The Position**:
We are seeking a social worker who is passionate about working with people with disabilities to join our team. The role is available as either part time or full time and the responsibilities include:
- Providing client driven, evidence-based therapy services to clients in their home, clinic and/or community environments, focusing on meeting the NDIS and client goals
- Provision of therapy services to children and/or adults with disabilities, including developmental delays, autism and intellectual disabilities.
- Conducting assessments and reporting in a timely and accurate manner as required for the National Disability Insurance Scheme and generating recommendations.
- Taking on projects to assist with auditing and continuous improvement activities.
As a manager you will have experience in scheduling, performance management and professional development, you will also be a part of the senior management team. You will be tasked with ensuring the team is run effectively and efficiently and provides exceptional client care.

**Selection Criteria**:
- A Social Work degree which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Demonstrated advanced Social Work experience across a range of clinical areas within a disability setting.
- Demonstrated experience supervising staff and team performance
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in service management functions
- Demonstrated high level problem solving and clinical prioritisation skills
- Demonstrated high level communication skills (oral and written) including advocacy and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated experience implementing Evidence Based Practice (EBP) into service planning and evaluation
**Key Criteria**:
- Member of Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
- Working with Children Screener
- Disability Employment Screener Check or NDIS Worker Screener
- Responding to Risk of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN-EC) certification
