About the Role:

We are seeking a Clinical Support Worker to provide professional, person-centred care for a male client with dementia. This role involves supporting the client with personal care, supervising daily routines, and ensuring a safe and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and supervise showering (client can partially assist)
  • Support daily outings, including trips to the plaza for coffee and walks (approx. 12km)
  • Engage the client in conversation to maintain social and cognitive stimulation
  • Follow care routines and clinical guidelines to ensure quality support
  • Adapt support to meet the client's individual needs while respecting cultural preferences

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in clinical support, dementia care, or aged care
  • Ability to provide person-centred care with patience, empathy, and discretion
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with the client and family
  • Previous experience in aged care, disability, or clinical support highly regarded

Hours:

  • Monday: 8:00am – 10:30am (additional days may be considered)

Requirements:

  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Working with Children Check / Police Check if applicable
  • Reliable transport and driver's licence
