**About Us**
Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.
Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the 'Courts Group'.
Our people enable the Courts Group to deliver on each jurisdiction's own strategic priorities while also pursuing strategic opportunities that are interconnected and deliver benefits more broadly.
**VCAT**
The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) is a justice service that resolves a wide range of disputes for the Victorian community, including renting, planning, and consumer disputes. VCAT is committed to delivering an accessible service for all Victorians and is transforming our digital products and services to make it faster, easier, and more convenient for people to come to the tribunal.
VCAT is the busiest tribunal in Australia, handling over 83,000 cases annually across a broad range of civil, administrative, and human rights matters that significantly affect the daily lives of Victorians. Operating as a tribunal rather than a court, VCAT emphasises accessibility, informality, and timely resolution through alternative dispute resolution methods like mediation. As part of Victoria's independent justice system, VCAT receives administrative support from Court Services Victoria (CSV), a statutory body that also supports the state's courts and judicial institutions.
**About the Role**
The Relocation Coordinator will work closely with VCAT employees, CSV project teams and external vendors to facilitate relocations, handle logistics and provide support throughout the entire process. This will include planning, scheduling and execution of the relocation through close engagement with VCAT staff and members, providing guidance and support.
The role requires you to work with vendors and contractors and coordinate and manage the end-of-lease decommissioning requirements.
This is a hands on role, requiring a pro-active and systematic approach to identify relocation priorities and complete diverse tasks with a focus on exceptional customer service. You will be required to:
- work closely with key stakeholders to execute the relocation
- lead and coordinate pre-relocation activities, including the disposal of obsolete and surplus items, materials, equipmet and furniture
- collaborate with VCAT's Emergency Management and Business Continuity Manager to ensure preparedness of the new venue
- identify and assess relocation risks for staff and members
