This is an exciting permanent full-time opportunity to join the BlueCare Care and Governance team and play a part in developing and promoting a culture of continuous improvement that aligns with the quality framework across our aged care services.

Your part in the Care & Governance team
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Care & Clinical Governance, you will ensure the provision of quality care, adherence with regulatory compliance requirements, reinforcing collaboration across all services and support functions. The role will also see you supporting our residential and community leaders to embed change. Responsibilities of the role will include:
- Provide leadership for client safety program in Aged Care and Community Services.- Work collaboratively with services to investigate high risk, high-severity incidents to ensure root causes are identified and system improvement are recognised.- Analyse trends and factors relating to client safety outcomes and advise areas of high risk and organisational improvement.- Develop policy, procedures, tools and documentation relating to client safety, incident management, open disclosure.- Develop and deliver a regular program of education and training relating to incident management, root cause analysis and open disclosure for all key senior service roles.

Your strong commitment to quality frameworks, process improvements and high level of stakeholder engagement will ensure a successful transition into the role. Additionally, you will also possess the following skills and experience.- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Nursing/Health discipline or equivalent experience in high level service delivery and quality.- Current AHPRA or professional body registration is highly desirable- Demonstrated knowledge and/or clinical experience in service delivery and quality systems in either the aged care, community care or health sectors.- Proven knowledge of contemporary continuous quality improvement practices and care and clinical governance practices.- Demonstrated leadership experience and management experience, delivering client centred, community-based care services.- Demonstrated competence in analytics of care and clinical indicators with ability to deliver tangible outcomes.- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including advanced computer skills.- Ability to work autonomously while building strong relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
