We’re seeking a strategic, detail-oriented, and passionate **Critical Risk & Safety Content Lead**to join our growing team. This pivotal role sits at the **intersection of technical safety knowledge, content development, and risk leadership**. As our lead expert on critical risk, you will be responsible for the ongoing development, accuracy, and innovation of our core safety content. This role is **100% remote,** however there could be some travel to meet with clients internationally.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Subject Matter Expertise & Leadership**
- Develop and lead the global CRM strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve Forwood’s fatality prevention methodology.
- Oversee critical risk assessment initiatives, identifying emerging risks and control weaknesses across client industries (mining, construction, utilities and digital).
- Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader, collaborating with senior stakeholders, regulators, and industry bodies.
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate risk intelligence and technological innovations into CRM solutions.

**Team Leadership & Development**
- Direct and mentor a team of critical risk content developers and analysts.
- Contribute to establish performance standards and growth pathways for CRM professionals within the organization.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Drive stakeholder engagement to increase buy-in and adoption of CRM principles.

**Client & Partner Engagement**
- Facilitate workshops and strategic safety transformation sessions.
- Further improve our CRM framework tailored to the unique needs of Forwood’s clients and partners in our key industries.

**Content & Knowledge Management**
- Oversee the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of critical risk and control content.
- Conduct risk analysis and validation to ensure CRM materials align with regulatory and industry standards.
- Spearhead research initiatives to integrate emerging safety trends into CRM methodologies.
- Utilize data-driven insights and safety analytics to refine risk prevention strategies.

**Implementation & Safety Transformation**
- Provide support to safety culture transformation initiatives, such as Bootcamps, implementing best-in-class fatality prevention solutions.
- Coach and Mentor CRM solution deployment at client sites, ensuring effective risk control implementation.
- Conduct in-depth critical risk investigations and incident analysis, providing actionable solutions.
- Establish and manage benchmarking processes to measure the effectiveness of CRM interventions

**Skills/Experience**:

- 8+ years experience in health & safety leadership, risk management, or operational safety transformation.
- Extensive expertise in Critical Risk Management systems within mining, utilities, construction, or other heavy industries.
- Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams including solution, delivery and expertise, to drive organizational safety strategy.
- Experience advising senior leaders on risk governance, safety leadership, and cultural transformation.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in incident investigations, risk assessments, and control verification.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex safety concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in risk data analysis, performance tracking, and CRM solution evaluation.
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs, workshops, and coaching sessions.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and international risk management standards.
- Postgraduate degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Risk Management, or Business Leadership (preferred).
- Certification or deep understanding of ISO 45001, Bow-Ties, TapRoot, and/or other risk assessment methodologies. (preferred)
- In addition to English - ability to speak Spanish or Brazilian Portuguese to support global client engagement.
