**Role Summary**:
The Environmental Advisor Operations role is an opportunity in our HSE Operations Team. This is a Perth metro site-based role with site visits and travel required.

This role co-ordinates and provide best practise advice on Synergy Environmental Management activities, problem solve and respond to issues for Synergy Sites, to ensure a consistent approach and continual improvement in environmental performance.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Promote and participate in programmes to meet the environmental objectives and ensure legal compliance requirements are met.
- Contribute to site environmental improvement plans to address environmental aspects and impacts.
- Manage Assess environmental impact of incidents and determine whether environmental regulatory requirements have been breached.
- Conduct licence/monitoring activities and ensure records and environmental documentation are recorded in Synergy reporting system.
- Facilitate site environmental training as appropriate (e.g. environmental awareness, EMS and licence compliance).

**What you’ll bring**:

- Studies relating to Environment.
- Relevant experience in the environmental management principles and compliance activities.
- Knowledge of Western Australian and Federal Environmental regulatory environment including associated disciplines (ie. noise. waste and environmental regulation) is desired but not essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, being able to communicate with all levels of stakeholders.
- A team player that is self-motivated and proactive.
