**Role Summary**:
The Technical Team Lead, Kwinana Gas Turbines is a newly created people management and leadership opportunity in our Gas Generation team based at our Kwinana site.

The purpose of the role is to lead and manage a multi-disciplined team of electrical and mechanical technicians to ensure the safe and effective execution of day-to-day corrective and preventative maintenance and planned outage program to ensure plant performance meets generation requirements.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Maintain a safe working environment and safe systems of work.
- Ensure plant and equipment is operated and maintained to meet asset mission objectives and health, safety, and environmental statutory and licensing requirements.
- Supervise and lead technical workers in an operations and maintenance environment supporting a continuous improvement process, identifying, and evaluating opportunities for improving processes, systems, and deliverables.
- Supervise, monitor performance, coordinate, and validate works carried out by staff, contractors, and consultants, including associated contract management.
- Coordinate assigned maintenance activities to provide cost effective reliable generation and achieve business performance targets.
- Implement and manage processes in accordance with Australian Standards, legislative requirements, and best practice.
- Manage contractors to minimise risk exposure and maximise business performance.
- Collaborate with the Environment team to provide input into environmental management and compliance with the Kwinana environmental licence and environmental regulations.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Engineering Diploma, Engineering Trade certification, Certificate IV in ESI Generation, or equivalent is essential.
- Certificate IV in Frontline Management or similar business management or supervisory qualification is highly desirable
- People Management experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams in a power station or heavy industrial environment.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in gas turbine plant operations and maintenance.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a maintenance focused role ideally within a Shutdown or Outage environment.
- Knowledge and experience in supply chain contracting and procurement.
- WA Driver’s Licence**.**
