**The role**

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced HSE Advisor to join our client in Kwinana.

You will be responsible for the implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and meeting the requirements of Responsible Care. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.

Responsibilities:

- Facilitate the implementation of Responsible Care Programs, including EHS standards, directives, and guidelines.
- Provide expert advice, judgement, and analysis in regulatory compliance and due diligence programs.
- Conduct workplace hazard identification, risk assessment, and control activities, offering innovative and entrepreneurial recommendations for risk mitigation.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, external certification bodies, suppliers, contractors, and employees at all levels related to the Kwinana Plant.
- Facilitate the investigation of all incidents and accidents, ensuring timely implementation of preventive and corrective actions.
- Coordinate early intervention, return to work, and rehabilitation measures for injured employees.
- Conduct EHS management system audits internally based on Responsible Care, Transport and Distribution Safety, Process Safety, Toll Manufacturing, and Security systems
- Provide coverage for other HSEQ team members during absences and be available for out-of-hours first response in case of incidents and accidents.
- Certificate IV in Health and Safety.
- Experience within a **chemical** manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- ISO9001 Quality system and auditing training and experience.
- Detailed knowledge of regulatory requirements and EHS policies, procedures, and programs
