Production Operator

**About the role**:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Production Operator to join our Supply Chain Division at our Kwinana plant. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will initially be responsible for completing assigned production tasks in packaging and filling of liquid chemical products and forklift driving. There will be an expectation that you will then progress to our mixing factory and on to reaction chemistry.

This exciting role is a rotating shift position comprising of 2 weeks 06:00 - 14:30 and then 2 weeks 11:00 - 19:30 with one RDO per month. You will receive hands on training from this supportive team.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Carrying out the production processes of Ecolab, strictly according to established safety and operating procedures to meet daily production plan e.g. packaging, filling and mixing
- Implement the company's principles, policies and operational requirements for quality, health, safety and environmental management
- Operate equipment and handling raw materials as per Occupational Health and Safety instructions
- Report any operating or mechanical faults or issues to management

**Technically speaking you will ideally have**:

- Literacy and numeracy skills
- An understanding of safety and the hazards of chemical handling and factory equipment
- Chemical production, manufacturing and process experience - ideal, but not essential

A current valid forklift license is essential
