Due to internal promotion within the team, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operations Business Partner to join our Safety, Health & Environment function at our Perth CBD office, on a permanent full-time basis.

**Your Role in Action**

In this pivotal role, you will lead and support the business in managing complex incident investigations that have significant impacts on safety, environment, quality, and training, and may pose potential reputational risks. You will provide professional advice and support to the business regarding safety, health and environment to deliver the highest level of performance through effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

**What Makes You a Great Fit**

We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:

- Bachelor qualification in Health & Safety, Environment or a related discipline or demonstrated relevant work experience.
- Completed an investigation course.
- Strong investigation, communication and report writing skills.
- Sound knowledge and experience of safety, health and environment regulatory requirements.
- Ability to communicate and engage competently to both middle managers and frontline staff.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision to meet strict deadlines and ability to prioritise.
- Valid WA Driver’s License Class ‘C’ or ‘C-A’
- Willingness to travel for work to various locations in which Western Power operates.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call availability roster.
