**The Opportunity**
The primary purpose of the role is to assist in the development of social media content with an objective of driving engagement and maximising SIMPEC’s brand across social media channels. This role also provides ad-hoc administration support for the SIMPEC team, where required. SIMPEC anticipates this role will eventually work within a future marketing team.
**Responsibilities include.**
- Create in-feed content to raise awareness of key SIMPEC activities.
- Assist in the creation of impactful social media campaigns to enhance the brand and reputation of SIMPEC.
- Assist in the development and implementation of social media strategy to increase brand awareness. Assist in the development and implementation of a social media timetable for future months.
- Work closely with the Office Manager and project teams on content briefing, the fulfilment of briefs and approvals.
- Keep across emerging trends across social media platforms.
- Assist with planning and execution of special events.
- Provide administrative support to SIMPEC corporate teams, where required.
**About You**
- Diploma or relevant Degree in Business and / or Communications
- Marketing Experience desirable
- 2+ years’ experience in social media and content or similar
- Copywriting and copy-editing skills
- Developed communication, time management and organisation skills.
- Proven results building a social media audience, driving engagement and results.
- Experience directing, filming, photographing, and editing content along with proficiency with video and photo editing tools desirable.
