Our client is one of the original family owned wineries established in Australia and boasts a tradition of producing premium wines with a modern vision using produce derived from a treasured Victorian region.
Reporting to the Business Director, the incumbent will be fortunate to be mentored by a highly regarded person in the Wine Industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong support to the sales team
- Deliver a high level of customer service with timely follow up on all customer enquiries
- Administrative duties including managing enquiries, arranging meetings and processing customer orders
- Support sales team in creating leads, passing on sales opportunities, developing business proposals, managing inventory and meeting minute taking and action follow up
- Liaise with chain customers and maintain/update supplier portals
- Liaise with customers to obtain repeat orders
- Maintain and grow customer relationships and sales in consultation with the sales team
- Assist sales team sending samples, brochures and product specific data to customers
- Maintain the samples register
Key Attributes:
- Passion for wine and the food industry
- Self Driven and enthusiastic with a focus on system improvement
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (excel, word, outlook) and accounting software such as Xero
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Possess a minimum of 3 years’ administrative experience
- Excellent organisational and time management skills including high level of attention to detail
- Able to work both autonomously and in a team environment
